Italian Society: Social Media Manager

Ciao guys,

I am Jesmean and I am from Verona. I am a first-year studying Politics and International Relations. I am applying for the position of Social Media Manager because I would like to get involved more in the Italian Society.

I am a person who enjoys getting involved in helping and organising any activity for the community. Furthermore, I am persistent and hardworking, as a matter of fact, I have been the student representative at my Italian high school for three consecutive years, and I have been one of the SAC (School Advisory Council) members of the Dual Diploma Council, representing over 45,000 students. These experiences exposed me to different ideas and taught me to collaborate and reach our goals.

Exposition to new things is a key to the success of any leader and therefore, through my position, I aim to enhance my leadership and organisational skills. Apart from personal growth, I hope to make a difference in the society in any way I can. I’m approachable and free to discuss with everyone, and I hope you will allow me to be available to you.

Hi everyone I'm Luca Saija and I am running for Social Media Manager! 

I am currently a postgraduate student in the Information Security MSc. I decided to nominate myself because I can't wait to work with the other committee members to organise a lot of different exciting activities. I have a lot of experience in societies, as in my undergraduate I created and run a society for three years covering more or less any role/position on the committee. Being part of the society is a great way to meet Italian people, learn more about Italian culture and practice the Italian language. By getting elected, I will make my best to make sure that everyone feels included and welcomed in the society and is always up to date on the events that we are going to organise, by publishing posts and stories on our social pages. 

Why you should vote for me?

• As Social Media Manager I will make sure to keep all the members up to date regarding the events that the society organises and try to answer any query that our members might have. 
• I will closely work with the committee members and the other members of the society to organise new and fun events! 
• I will participate in all the Committee's meetings to make sure that everyone's voice is heard.
• I will make sure to keep everyone up to date with stories and posts about events happening in London regarding Italy and the Italian culture
