Gender and Feminism Society: Welfare Officer

I spontaneously came to one of GenFem's events towards the end of last year and immediately fell in love. There was an overwhelming sense of community and inclusivity that, sadly, is seldom found in UCL societies. What I want to do as Welfare officer, is continue that trend of friendliness so that new members feel as welcome and accepted as I did at my first event. Although I hope to be the first port of call for any and all issues, my main hope is to encourage openness and support among GenFem members so we can all be there for each other, like a family.
