First Generation Society : First Year Rep

Being the first generation going to university can be daunting, and indeed it was daunting for me. That's why I was excited to hear that there was a first generation society here at UCL. I found it extremely useful and comforting to meet people with similar backgrounds as me, as it helped me to settle into university better. By recognising this fact and wanting others like me to feel welcomed, I put myself down for the position of a first year representative with the hopes that I can get more people involved in this society.
