FinTech Society: Welfare Officer

As welfare officer, my role would be to provide support for mental health issues and act as the first point of contact for all students where concerns about welfare or discrimination are identified. I would work closely with the committee to promote diversity and inclusion in every area of FinTech. Furthermore, as I am a third year student, I would be able to provide advice on the pressures and struggles of university life. Moreover, I would attend events hosted by UCL for students’ well-being. Finally, I believe I am well-suited for the role of Welfare Officer as I am approachable and trustworthy, I am able to resolve conflict whilst  remaining impartial and I am extremely understanding when it comes to welfare issues as I have experienced mental health issues first hand.
