Hi! My name is Amer and I am nominating myself for the role of Treasurer for the UCL FinTech Society. I have been the society's Interim Treasurer for 3 months now, which means that I know exactly how the society operates, what it wants to achieve, and what I am expected to do if I get elected for the role. I have undertaken several responsibilities like handling the society's transactions, negotiating with companies for sponsorships, contacting speakers for events, and others. As the Treasurer of the society, I will continue to do my tasks while ensuring that the needs of the members are met.
