Cycling Club: Welfare Secretary

Hi, my name is Margot Hodgkinson and I am a second year law student running for Welfare Secretary. Although I only joined the club at the beginning of the year, I’ve really enjoyed taking part in the club rides and also some of the race opportunities available.

As welfare secretary, I would like to encourage more members to join the club and also help resolve any issues current members might need some help with. The cycling club already has a really friendly and welcoming atmosphere and I would like to be able to contribute to this further. 

I’d hope to encourage this inclusive atmosphere by organising club rides for all different levels to try and cater to as many different members as possible and also having more social events so everyone in the club can get to know each other more. I’m always available if anyone has any questions or queries they would like to chat to me about.
