Cricket Club (Women's): Secretary

I love women’s cricket are the words I say to myself every morning & is why I am running for general sec. Yes, I may not be able to name a woman cricketer & yes, I didn’t go on tour last year, but what I’m trying to say is that I would do anything for this club & dare I say relish the chance to be more involved.

Now let’s talk about my credentials:

As I’m sure my friends can attest, I'm reliable to a fault. I physically cannot miss a deadline or be late to anything ever (arriving 5 hours early to the airport) which comes in handy for bureaucratic processes. Like actually seriously I would rather die than hand in a form late & I reply to messages promptly.

2ndly, I'm the president of my current flat & so have experience dealing with various responsibilities involving writing formal emails & opening mail. So I am good at taking charge & doing those jobs that no one else wants to do. I also make all of my own doctor’s appointments (& deal with associated correspondence) which lends validity to the claim that I take pleasure in administrative tasks.

Finally, I've never even considered any other sports society so there's no danger of being stolen away (eg to netball). Though I had a brief stint with woman’s rugby in freshers last year, no other sports club or society for that matter has my heart like WCC (especially with my new try hard attitude).

So I'm well suited and I'd be good

WCC is thriving & I would love to be a part of the team thats making it all happen (s/o to you guys)
