Bubble Tea Society: Social Media Officer

Hi, I'm Carisse and I'm combining two of my addictions—social media and bubble tea—to run as your Social Media Officer! I started my first year with the Bubble Tea Society after seeing their Instagram post promoting a Bubble Tea Crawl, then spiraled down a rabbit hole of events where I got to make my own (mid) bubble tea and sip (much better) Strawberry Matcha tea while attempting arts and crafts. These activities introduced me to new brands, flavours and people, and I’m excited to extend their outreach so everyone can enjoy them as much as I have. With experience planning and marketing my school's Orientation Week for over a thousand students (...and my thousands of hours on social media), I’m confident in producing engaging campaigns that will leave you hooked on our events. Can't wait to see all of you this year!

Hi I’m Grace! I am a 2nd year studying Psychology with Education and I am running for Social Media Officer. Bubble tea society has helped me a lot with socialising, easing into university and making valuable memories with new friends whom I am still very close to today. Meeting students with the same love for boba made it easier for me to find my peers so I would like to nurture this friendly environment by using various social media platforms to promote society events. 

My prior experience as a marketing associate in EIE society can help me apply this knowledge to advertise the society. I feel that social media was the easiest way for me to stay updated so I value the importance of managing a good social media presence. I hope you can elect me as Social Media Officer so I can ensure this year's students feel as welcome as I did last year! ;)
