Bartlett School of Architecture Society: Treasurer

Hi! My name is Sammy, I am a third year BSc Architecture Student, and I'm putting myself forward to be in charge of how money is spent in the Bartlett School of Architecture Society!

You may have seen me around, as I'm always in the studio on many different floors - I have made the Bartlett like my second home, which means I know lots of people personally and I am very easy to talk to. In my role as interim treasurer working with Hannah, our president, I have helped the society spend money on a very successful series of events at the start of term 1, including talks with experts from different areas of the world about approaches to social housing, as well as helped fund welfare events and outreach fairs within welcome week this year. 

Working with staff and fellow students, I have already helped contribute to a very new departmental society that has big ambitions to become a part of the student life at the Bartlett, and contribute to a more sustainable, enjoyable architecture and built environment education. We have already gained a large number of student members, something which we're incredibly proud of. I want to continue in this rewarding role to help make more moves within the society and within the faculty as a whole.
