Election post
I have already (functionally) been the Welfare Officer for the past 2 months. As someone who deeply appreciates the positive impact of badminton on mental and physical health, I want to ensure that our club is inclusive of any player regardless of skill level and background.
Other than assisting the social secretary in ensuring the social sessions run smoothly, I have been the point of contact for members to address concerns. One example is the (common) complaint that there have not been enough courts to accommodate the amount of members. Thus, we have been actively looking for new courts to play in - for example, the planned trial Friday sessions.
I believe in proactive communication and am dedicated to being approachable and actively listening to concerns, being the voice of members within the commitee. I am excited about continuing to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our club members.
