I'd love to be the head of events of the BASc society because I feel that it plays a strong role in the sense of community that is being strongly promoted in the BASc society and at UCL in general. As an open and social person, I would love to be able to organise events that would bring people together, give the opportunity to the BASc people to meet people outside of their friend group, possibly create new friendships and therefore reinforce the feeling of community in the Arts & Sciences group. 

I think we should organise both formal and non formal events, to give the opportunity to the BASc people to meet other people in a non-formal and fun way but also formals which can be fun and special. My ideas would be maybe organising socials in pubs or bars next to UCL (The Court, the UCL bar in the math building...) but also get-togethers in the BASc common room. Also once or twice a year (Christmas, end of T2, end of school year...) we could organise balls where people could dress fancy and have fun with the other BASc people, which I feel would only strengthen the community and society.

I also was a girl scout for four years, so I already have some experience in organising activities and taking the lead!
