Arts and Sciences Society: First Year Rep

Being the first year representative would be an opportunity for me to connect the issues of freshers and the rest of the BASc society and ensure a smooth transition for people to uni and BASc especially, as it seems at first a very overwhelming course with all the different modules etc, so I’d love helping with organising fun events. I have been Head of House and Prefect in my school and have experience at organising activities. Most of all, I value a sense of community and togetherness which I feel lacks a bit when you move to a completely new environment and too many new country and culture. So, making sure to frequently collect feedback would be a priority (through anonymous surveys or a box in the common room)
