Art Society: Treasurer

Hello!

I would like to nominate myself for the Treasurer position of the Art Society.

About me:

My name is Clélie and I am doing a MSc in Bioscience Entrepreneurship at UCL. Although my degree has barely anything to do with arts, I’ve always been dragged into arts, I dance and play music myself and I like to do crafts, draw, and built little objects from scratch. I am always up for going to museums or reading good literature. And funny enough, although I have been studying bioscience, I would like my future business to be in relation to the arts in the future.

My involvement in the society:

I used to be involved with the art society of my previous uni, going to their life-drawing sessions and workshops regularly. I loved the atmosphere there and the different activities I took part in. Being the treasurer of the UCL art society would be an additional way to be involved with arts this year. Furthermore, I have in the past founded my own society and I am familiar with the financial and legal aspects of it, fundraising, finding partnerships, organization, and the business side of my course is also giving an extra layer of knowledge on the topic. As part of the committee, I hope to be able to continue to make this amazing society grow and have an input in all the possible events and activities that will be proposed.
