Engineering isn’t just about equations and experiments - it’s about building communities where everyone can thrive. As a first-year Biochemical Engineering student, I am passionate about creating spaces where women feel supported, encouraged, and inspired to contribute their ideas and take on leadership roles.

In high school, I led an all-women team on a biology initiative, coordinating projects, mentoring team members, and celebrating each person’s contributions. That experience showed me the impact of collaboration, guidance, and encouragement, and the confidence it gives people to take on challenges. I want to bring that same energy to the Women in Engineering Society, helping everyone feel valued and motivated to contribute.

I am approachable, organized, and committed to listening to the ideas and concerns of everyone. I hope to create initiatives and events that celebrate achievements, provide support, and offer opportunities for women to share their skills, experiences, and perspectives. By fostering an environment where learning, growth, and mentorship are encouraged, I hope to empower members to reach their full potential.

Engineering is stronger when women lift each other, and I want to help create a space where that happens every day - where challenges are tackled together, successes are celebrated collectively, and every member feels confident to make their mark.

After all, what, like it’s hard?
