Hi everyone!
My name is Rhin and I nearly drowned in a pool when I was 8. Thankfully, I got rescued by a shirtless middle aged man and after grudgingly agreeing to attend swimming lessons when I was 11, I somehow fell in love with the sport and made it to being a competitive swimmer!
Whilst I’m no longer dedicated enough to continue my stint, I still believe swimming is the best form of exercise in the world and I would love to make every session rewarding and enjoyable. I also want to ensure that we have a positive environment where everyone feels comfortable regardless of their ability or background.
I have been a regular attender in the high fitness group for a year now. During this time, I have been proactive in organising my lane during sessions and also managed to make some friends! And if you still aren’t convinced that I am captain material, I volunteered to make the sets for term 3 sessions last year when the pools were a bit too empty….
