I am passionate about BSL and want to help others learn aswell having achieved level 1. I want to spotlight Deaf people, as well as improve deaf awareness so that we learn the language in a respectful manner. I have experience as a BSL level 1 academic representative and work as a teaching assistant supporting children usually with special education needs, so I want to apply the skills and experience I’ve gained to this role. I enjoy learning such an amazing language and hope to do level 2 next year, so I would love to help others on their journey to understanding more about BSL and Deaf culture :)
