I've really enjoyed the atmosphere of the club so far, and had a great time playing some of the board games. I'm particularly interested in running because I noticed that UCL doesn't seem to have a large centralised DnD component like other universities (despite having demand for it). Having contacted the president of the DnD club at KCL previously, I found that the society is quite receptive to students from other universities joining. Therefore, I'd like to run for Events Officer to potentially facilitate an intercollegiate DnD club, to bring longer term DnD campaigns to the student body and improved connectivity with a neighbouring university.
I have helped at and attended multiple events this year and I would love to continue working with the committee to organise more events.
I am excited to brainstorm ideas for Christmas/ end of term. I want to collaborate with other societies and make our events bigger and better.
