Hello! I’m Antonia and I’m running to be your new aerial coordinator. 

Aerial is my main sport, and I’ve been teaching for a few years now. I’ve really enjoyed learning pole at UCL but I think our society could introduce even more people to aerial. I have good contacts with one of the biggest aerial studios in London and would love to make this sport more accessible for UCL students. 

My main aims would be:

  1. some more aerial classes to make it more accessible especially for those with busy timetables (possibly at an aerial specific studio with very high ceilings for even cooler tricks…)
  2. tasters of new apparatuses eg trapeze, slings (and maybe some more unique stuff!)
  3. more visibility of aerial on socials + an option for an aerial showcase so people can show off what they’ve learnt so people have a better idea of what we’ll do in class 

UCL pole is such a wonderful community and I hope I can help contribute to that!
