Moroccan Society: Treasurer

I’m standing for Treasurer to help the Moroccan Society grow stronger and more organised through clear financial planning and teamwork. As Head of Events last year, I’ve managed budgets, sponsorships, and logistics for cultural and professional projects that connected Moroccan students across UCL. My experience as Vice President of the Italian Society also gave me direct exposure to how the President and Treasurer coordinate operations, from planning major events to managing finances and sponsorships. These experiences showed me the importance of structure and consistency when running a society and how much difference careful budgeting makes in turning ideas into real events.

As Treasurer, I want to make sure every event we run is exciting and financially sustainable, whether it’s a social, cultural, or career event. I also already have a few speakers in mind from Moroccan politics, diplomacy, and finance sectors who could bring valuable insight to our members and help expand the Society’s professional network.
