I want an opportunity to ensure that UCL Medical Society keeps growing, and is able to provide students with help and skills through the things it runs. Having used many of MedSoc's resources through university so far, it has truly helped push forward my learning and consolidated information, which has helped with my exams. My background in leadership roles, both within and outside of MedSoc, has helped me cultivate key qualities such as adaptability, initiative, and approachability—traits I believe are vital in a Vice-President who must simultaneously lead and support. I am keen to encourage greater collaboration—not only within UCL societies but also with medical societies across other London universities. With the growing influence of technology and AI in healthcare, MedSoc is well-positioned to lead interdisciplinary initiatives that bring together medical, engineering, and entrepreneurship students. From this role, I hope to further refine my leadership and organisational skills in a dynamic, real-world setting. I also hope to gain a deeper understanding of strategic planning, people management, and how to foster positive institutional relationships—skills that will serve me well both within student organisations and as a future healthcare professional. Most importantly, I want to give back to the UCLMS community by ensuring that MedSoc remains a society that advocates for student needs, champions innovation, and builds lasting connections.
