Leadership and Management Society: Welfare Officer

There’s a saying: “The function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not more followers.” I believe that applies to you, to me, and to our Leadership & Management Society, and I’m standing for Welfare Officer because our society deserves a person who truly understands the ups and downs of ambitious students.

In my journey as a Social Science & Data Science student, I’ve gained analytical insight into how people operate under pressure, and creative empathy for when they don’t. I’ve also spent time in therapy, which taught me that support isn’t a luxury, but a foundation. My previous roles as Head Boy,  Organizer of MUNs, Founder of my school magazine gave me experience in leadership, in listening when others don’t speak, in turning concern into concrete action.

If elected, I will:

• Launch “Reset & Recharge” sessions where members can talk openly about stress, balance, their leadership journey and of course network.

• Create a Welfare Dashboard that tracks well-being trends among society members (anonymously, of course), so we can act proactively and tailor support where it’s needed most.

  I’m here because I’ve lived it and want to build welfare systems that let every member thrive. I want to see our society not only succeed in leadership and management, but stay strong, healthy and united while doing so.
