Lamorna Society: Creative Director

I’m standing for Creative Director of UCL’s Candle Making Society because I’m passionate about combining artistry and atmosphere, turning simple wax and wick into something expressive and meaningful. I want to bring fresh, distinctive design ideas to our workshops, socials, and branding, ensuring every candle and event feels like a unique creative experience.

Calling ALL SURVIVORS of the black and white marker famine of October 2025:  as a former VP of a random Hertfordshire state school's student council (I'm not paid to advertise them), you better believe I can creatively direct anything.

• More markers, less rationing: let every table have a balanced and diverse range of markers! I will ensure that there are surplus black and white pens, with new options: metallics, pastels, neons (if y'all like that...) Hopefully this stops the marker stealing across tables... I am watching... 🤨🤨🤨
• NO MORE JUMPSCARE SCENTS: shoutout to my friend who made a 4-scent biohazard, because who doesn't love a festive pepper spray candle? Let me help expand our scent collection beyond eucalyptus and cedar wood (ew?) - do tell me what scents you want, especially if you want themed / personal-favourite scents that really tickle your brain. Unless you want to make a Frankenstein mix, then we need to sit down and have a talk...
• Etsy-worthy designs that could lowkey be sold for £79.99:  Think ombré pours, custom wax melts to scatter on the surface, boujee jars, decoupage designs, ribbons and rhinestones, more colours 🤤🤤 oh my daysss....
• Collaborations (takeover Art Society because we're better): more people = big budget = more artistic tings = you get to do what you want

I'd love to share my coordination and vision, ensuring that the candles we make really do look as good as they smell! (note: under a fair cost, mercy pls, we're UCL... not Diptyque Paris)
