Introvert Society has been such a comforting and welcoming space and I’ve really come to appreciate how it allows people to connect in their own way. This society has been a lovely way to meet people who understand what it’s like to need quiet time and enjoy relaxed activities and I’d like to help keep that energy going.
As Welfare Officer, I’ll focus on making sure everyone feels comfortable and supported at our events, whether that means having low-pressure activities, quiet spaces, or simply checking in with members. I’d also like to hold wellbeing-focused events like the farm trips and craft events so far and make sure there’s always space for people to unwind or talk without pressure.
Most importantly, I want to be an approachable and understanding person you can come to if you ever need a listening ear. I’d love to work with the committee to keep the society welcoming and inclusive and to make sure every voice is heard <3
