Election post
Hi everyone! My name is Audrey. I’m a first year studying Art & Technology, and I’m really excited to be running for Marketing Director!
Back in high school, I worked with a few NGOs as a lead Creative Director and eventually became Head of Media in my student council, where I handled our social media presence alongside a team of 10+ junior designers. Those experiences taught me how to communicate messages with Design, a language I feel as though I am most fluent in.
For Indosoc, I really want to emphasize a sense of belonging. I hope to shape future events in a way that makes every social, movie night, potluck, and event feel genuinely approachable. Moving to London came with a lot of excitement, but also those instances of feeling unsure and trying to find where you fit. And honestly, sometimes joining a new event can feel intimidating, even when you're interested. That's where I hope my work comes in: setting the tone, help things feel warm rather than closed off, and give people that small push to show up and try new things :)
Outside of design, I spend time building small games, experimenting with creative coding, and playing tennis when the weather decides to cooperate (which, let’s be real, doesn’t happen often oops). I’d be happy to bring that same spirit and creativity to the Marketing Director role, and help Indosoc continue to grow as a space that feels like "a home away from home".
