Someone shared this with me a few years ago, and it has stayed with me ever since. This truth drives my passion to stand for the Volunteering Officer role at UCL in Aid of UNICEF.
Volunteering is about heart, connection and making a tangible impact together. I want to be the spark that lights up our community with passion, purpose and belonging, by building a network bursting with energy, where every volunteer feels valued, inspired and ready to make a real difference.
With my experience leading member engagement and organising events over the last few years, I'm eager to strengthen existing partnerships, reach out to new organisations, and create unforgettable opportunities for our volunteers. But this role is more than just managing. It is about inspiring a movement of passionate individuals united to create change for children worldwide.
