Hi, I am Niki Keomany and as Marketing Officer, I plan to design creative, heartfelt and also a little chaotic (in the best way) campains and social media posts!
I understand and truly admire the values of UNICEF, I wish to become an even more active memebr of this society by participating in the committee because I believe that marketing is activism in disguse.
Let's make our marketing not just seen, but felt and deserving.
Hey!
My name is Clotilde (a bit tricky to pronounce, I know) and I am a first-year European Social and Political Studies student specializing in international relations. One thing you should know about me is that I am genuinely passionate about UNICEF’s mission, especially promoting education and making it accessible to every child.
As marketing officer, I want to make sure that our voice is heard across UCL and on social media. My goal is not only to promote our events and the society, but also to reflect the values of UNICEF through the presence of the society on social media. If I get elected as Marketing officer, I will use both my organizational skills and strategic thinking to build a strong identity, raise awareness about UNICEF and our work and increase engagement on platforms and in events.
During a past internship, I was able to develop my marketing skills by helping to manage the social media account of a company. This experience taught me how to understand the analysis of data and statistics, but also how to grow an online presence effectively. As your Marketing officer I will make sure to apply my skills to the society’s accounts, to encourage not only students but also partners to interact and show solidarity.
I am truly motivated to share our activities on social media, to build a lasting identity and to boost engagement to strengthen our community at UCL.
Thank you for reading my manifesto.
Hi! My name is Elay and I’m a Politics and International Relations student, having chosen to study the subject because of my strong passion for human rights and advocacy for underrepresented groups. I’m running for Marketing Officer because I believe that effective communication and engagement is essential in promoting and supporting the important work of this society. I would love to use my skills to help in this invaluable mission within our university community. Previously, I led a project for a local charity, SLRA (South London Refugee Association). In this role, I organised multiple fundraising events, awareness activities for affected students and talks with the directors of the charity along with the Deputy Mayor of my borough. I also designed the marketing material for these events.
These experiences have undoubtedly shaped my passion for human rights advocacy and showed me how powerful such organisations can be in transforming the lives of many. Not only am I passionate about being a part of such a rewarding cause at university, I would like to pursue human rights advocacy as a career. As Marketing Officer, I believe I can continue to use my creativity and commitment to support campaigns that matter and make a difference. Marketing and social media can be an indispensable tool for helping the In Aid of Unicef Society to grow its reach, engage more students, and create a strong platform for meaningful impact! I hope to have your votes!
