Ice Club: Treasurer

My qualifications:

• Currently treasurer for Skate Club
• A year of committee experience
• Supreme time management skills: did 5 A-levels, currently working two jobs & volunteering :)
• I love you all
• I show up to every training, every game & every social!
• Over a year of dating your current president/ex treasurer, who yaps about the work 24/7 which means I'm pre-trained

Hi everyone! I'm Marvin and I'm studying my Master in Law at UCL this year. 

In terms of what I'll do as your Treasurer:

• I'll compare different providers to get you guys the best bang for your buck when travelling to fixtures or competitions, as well as help the President and Vice-President organise events and apparel orders
• I'll also help ensure that everything runs smoothly this year and set a solid framework for the club to have some financial breathing room next year (which means that hopefully costs go down for everyone). Part of this will involve me looking for sponsors for our club - whether it's equipment, stickers, or ice time (!!) that they can sponsor, ultimately we'll all save money

I think that I'm qualified to be the Treasurer because I:

• Learned to count to 67 when I was 2
• Achieved Distinction in the Mathematics (Primary) category for the World Class Arena Tests in Spring 2013
• Achieved full marks on Algebra II test in Year 8
• Learned my times tables before the age of 16
