Gliding Club: Head of Publicity

As a senior member with over three years of active involvement in the gliding club, I am nominating myself for the position of Head of Publicity. During my time in the club, I have contributed extensively to both its internal communication and external promotion. Serving as the chief editor of the New Member Guidance and as Event Coordinator last year, I organized multiple successful events that strengthened our sense of community and increased engagement across the club.
 

Over the past three years, I have taken part in almost every publicity initiative, working closely with committee members to promote our activities and highlight the club’s achievements. These experiences have given me a clear understanding of how to present the club’s spirit to both members and the wider public. As Head of Publicity, I aim to further develop a cohesive and dynamic public presence that reflects the enthusiasm, professionalism, and welcoming atmosphere that define our club.

Aviation has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, and being part of the UCL Gliding Club has only deepened that interest. By joining the committee, I hope to share this excitement with others, whether you're already into aviation or just curious to give gliding a go.

I’ve had experience working in teams through past projects and events, and I really enjoy collaborating with others to make things happen. I’ll do my best to help make the club feel welcoming and engaging, and to spread the word about what we do in a way that reflects our energy and enthusiasm.
