As well as co-founding the society last year, since August I have been the Interim President of the society. So far I have planned and hosted two very successful events, and I am in the process of planning many more exciting events. Currently I am collaborating with:

  • The Cycle, a not-for-profit organisation (Talk on the 18th November and launch of the Student Ambassador Scheme)
  • Sponsors including WUKA, Rosa's Thai and Good Notes
  • Start up FemTech companies including allie (event planned for November)
  • Other UCL societies (event planned for November)
  • Imperial, Oxford, and Cambridge FemTech societies (collaborating on FemTech Research UK and networking event in January)

So far I have loved being President of the society, and meeting so many amazing people. I would be grateful for the opportunity to continue this role in order to execute all of the events I am in the process of planning. My experience in the society means that I have a comprehensive understanding of it's work and the current committee. This, and the connections I have fostered, both inside and outside of UCL, put me in a great place to continue my role as President!
