From my experience, though the breadth of our course is its greatest strength, this can mean we're all in different places, so our paths don't cross as much as we'd like. That's why I'd like to play a role in improving the EISPS Society as a space where we can all come together to celebrate the diversity of course and those of us who study it.

It is really important to me that, as members of this community, your voices are heard. If elected, I'd represent you effectively by creating a feedback form where you can suggest how to improve the society (or how I can do a better job!), from events to the Rendezvous journal, for which I write. After all, the reason for having a representative is to make improvements that you, not just I, want to see.

Cooperation and effective communication are important skills for this role. I have previously been an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) representative before joining UCL. This taught me the value of developing a strong community in making positive change; that’s how our society can thrive. I hope it would help me in representing the diversity of our course too.

I have engaged in several amazing events run by the society so far, though I'd be keen to see more events that cater for the wide range of interests that we all share - from law, to history, to anthropology - that's ultimately the reason you're all members of this society!

If you share my vision, I'd love it if you could consider me, and don't hesitate to ask me any questions!
