Dementia Research Society: Events Officer

I would like to be the Events Officer of the Dementia Research Society because I’m passionate about raising awareness for neurological conditions and supporting dementia research. As a BSc Psychology student aspiring to pursue neuropsychology, I’m eager to deepen my understanding of brain–behaviour relationships and help others do the same. I’m highly organised and skilled at coordinating and planning events smoothly and efficiently. My main goal as Events Officer would be to create engaging networking events that connect students with professionals and researchers in the field, helping them gain internships, research experience, and career insight. I’m confident that my reliability and passion for neuroscience will help strengthen the society’s presence and inspire more students to get involved in dementia research society.
