Basketball Club (Women's): LUSL Team Vice Captain

This is my 10th year of playing basketball and I really appreciate the opportunity to be able to play in this team. Although I have recently started playing as a member of LUSL team, I have learned a lot of things so far- not only about the tactics but also about teamwork and communication. I want to become a vice captain because I would like to take a more active role in supporting our team.

Through this position, I hope to gain valuable experience in leadership and learn how to guide others while also improving myself. I want to help everyone feel comfortable expressing their opinions.

Even though I am still sometimes struggling with my bad English ability during trainings and games, I see this as a great opportunity to challenge myself and communicate more confidently with my teammates. 

Hi! I’m Ellie and I’m a second year natural sciences student. I’m super excited to be a part of the lusl team this year and so far I’ve had the most fun ever! I love the team we have this year and I am committed to making us grow stronger together!!

If elected, I will make sure that all of our games run super smoothly and we all get information in advance. I would also love to organise some post-game rituals - maybe going to a chicken shop or getting some pizzas after our Sunday games! I know that the vibes can be a bit low on Friday evening trainings, however I am always ready to bring the good vibes and make sure we are all enjoying ourselves! We are also incredibly lucky to have Eileen as our coach and I will make sure to support her during trainings and game days!!
