Rayya Ali

As current vp when I was first approached about this role I had no idea what I was getting into. I was told it wouldn’t take up too much time to say that was wrong is an understatement. But truthfully, I wouldn’t change a thing. From the planning to the long nights and chaotic moments, every bit of it has been worth it. Seeing everyone come together and create memories is exactly why I love being part of this society.

I’m going for the vp role because I wanted to help keep the kind of community I’d had when I first joined, one that’s welcoming, exciting, and full of life. The Bangla Society isn’t just about events or socials; it’s about inclusion, connection, culture, and feeling part of a wider community. As VP, I want to keep that energy alive by making sure every event feels special, every voice heard, and that we keep growing together as a society.

If you vote for me you can expect a vp that’s enthusiastic, bubbly and always willing to bring your ideas to life.
