Azerbaijani Society: Welfare Officer

As a current BSc Economics student at University College London and a proud member of the Azerbaijani community, I would like to apply for the position of Welfare Officer in the Azerbaijani Society. My academic and extracurricular experiences have strengthened my ability to support and represent others—qualities that I believe are crucial for this role.

In my position as Client Relations Executive with the UCL FinTech Society, I established and maintained relationships with organizations outside the university, coordinated events, and closely collaborated with internal teams to align goals and strategies. These experiences have enhanced my communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, enabling me to work effectively with a diverse group of students and stakeholders.

Beyond my academic and professional commitments, I have been an active member of the Azerbaijani Society since joining UCL. I have taken part in society events and contributed to community initiatives, including assisting during the Welcome Fair to engage new members and help them feel comfortable within our community. These experiences deepened my understanding of the society’s values and the importance of fostering inclusivity and well-being among members.
