Armenian Society: General Secretary

I’m standing for the role of General Secretary because I want to help keep our Armenian Society running smoothly while making it a fun and welcoming space for everyone — whether you’re fully Armenian, half like me, or just here for the food. Being half Armenian, born and raised in England, and fluent in Armenian, I’d love to help bring both sides of my background together and celebrate our culture in a relaxed, friendly way. From my school leadership roles — like being Vice House Captain and Head of Diversity and Wellbeing — I’ve learned how to stay organised, communicate well, and make sure everyone feels included. I’m reliable and adaptable (even under a bit of chaos), and I bring good vibes, a can-do attitude, and maybe too much enthusiasm for planning things. Honestly, I just want to contribute, help the committee wherever needed, and make sure we all have a great time keeping our little society alive — with events that run smoothly, plenty of laughter, and definitely enough snacks.
