Taylor Swift Society: Events Officer

Long story short, I'm standing for this position because I LOVE Taylor, and how our love for her brings us in TSS together. 

Though I've only been in TSS for a month, I genuinely enjoyed every single activity I've attended. Seeing everyone had so much fun, I can say that the karaoke night was one of the most exciting and the best memorises in UCL that I'll hold on to. Hence, it would truly be beyond my wildest dreams if I get to create more sparks-flying experiences for other Swifties. 

The Event Officer role requires good organisational skills and creative ideas. I believe I have experience using these skills, in particular, helping my high school student fair. I helped the teachers coordinate the staff and students. In addition, I also assisted setting up the stands for each subject by designing and putting up the posters. For Taylor-thematic ideas, you just can't shake them off when you have 11 albums and almost 300 songs to play with. One that I think will be interesting to experiment with is hosting a quiz night (Taylor's Version). Questions related to her career and work will be asked,  ranging from easy to hardcore Swiftie knowledge.  Also, prize for the winners could be a merch or fan-made craft, depending on the budget. Another could be a vinyl listening session. I do personally own a vinyl player and all of Taylor's albums, and I'm more than willing to share the immersive music experience with other Swifties.
