Society of Engineering, Architecture and Design (SEAD): Vice President of Projects and Volunteering

I am excited to apply for the role of Vice President of Projects and Volunteering in SEADs. My passion for community engagement and extensive experience in leading volunteering activities lign with the mission of this position. Previously, I was the Content Curator of the charity club in Cardiff Sixth Form College, where we organized various projects to support our local community as a team. Some of our key activities included distributing free food to homeless people and organizing second hand book fair to promote sustainable and loving communities. I gained valuable insights into effective project planning, teamwork, and communication - all of which will serve me well in this new role. I am committed to fostering meaningful volunteering opportunities that enable members to give back to society while honing their skills in engineering and architecture. As VP of Projects and Volunteering, I aim to create innovative projects that engage students in hands-on experiences, promote sustainable practices, and strengthen our connection with local communities. Together, we can make a positive, lasting impact with our knowledge and the power of engineering and architecture.

I want to help push the current volunteering project forward and help students studying EAD engage with local community volunteering activities. 
After the design project is complete, I will be looking to establish relationships with charity projects to try and get more people hands on and helping out.
