I have always had a passion for science, whether that be having a home experiment lab kit or just reading up on new research that I hear about or see. This interest of mine has lead me to join the science magazine club and also in the future actively participate. Having been part of my school's newspaper for a couple of years, I fell in love with research and article writing. I think being a FYR will help hone my leadership skills. I would love this opportunity for communication and collaboaration with like minded people. I have had some experience in blog post writing and report writing over the years in internships and would love to write for this magazine to incite the love of science in my fellow peers.
