Election post

I am Meghna Banerjee. I am from India and am currently doing my MSc in International Public Policy. I express a deep desire to stand for the role of Vice-President for the International Public Affairs Society. The society is departmentally led and I believe that I can contribute to its growth by initiating collaborations with other societies, organizing events where learning can meet fun such as quizzes and debates, and arranging talks/ panel discussions with eminent personalities from the fields of International and public affairs, followed by dinners to promote a sense of unity and belonging among people in the Political Science Department. I feel that this society has a lot to offer its members, in both academic and interpersonal aspects. During my undergraduate studies, I was involved in the Student Welfare Office, where we organized events to promote the interpersonal relations between the students, during which, I learnt how important the growth of student relations is, along with academic growth. I have worked in the Times of India as an editorial intern as well as served as the Senior Editor of my department led journal during my undergraduate degree, hence the importance of International and public affairs is something that I am deeply passionate about. If I am given the privilege of being elected as the vice president of the IPAS, I promise to share my sense of passion for politics and public affairs and deliver my best while working with my colleagues as a team.
