Election post
I am standing for the position of Vice President of Outreach because I am passionate about building meaningful connections, both within our Guild Society and with the wider community.
My previous roles, including my experience as Welfare Officer at the UCL Hedge Fund Society, have equipped me with the skills needed to develop and maintain effective outreach programs. During my time in these positions, I managed the Welfare Fund, led campaigns to improve well-being support, and cultivated relationships with key sponsors, securing £5,000 in additional funding for our initiatives. I also collaborated closely with other societies (e.g. School of Management society) and organized cross-functional events that brought together diverse groups of students.
As Vice President of Outreach, I aim to leverage my experience to strengthen our ties with key industry partners, while also creating opportunities for our members to engage in skill workshops, mentorship sessions, and career panels. I am committed to ensuring that our outreach efforts are inclusive, impactful, and reflective of the diverse voices within our society.
