Disaster Risk Reduction and Humanitarianism Society: Third Year Representative

Hey I'm Sophia, and I would love the chance to act as the third year representative. 

I'm passionate about making a meaningful impact within the society and would do this by projecting the ideas of third year and harnessing our collective experiences. This opportunity would mean a lot to me as I could engage more actively with the cohort and form new relationships across the year. I am approachable, an active listener and a confident speaker in presenting the ideas of others, all of which are qualities that would be an asset to a year representative. `

As someone who was able to create relationships with last terms committee without being a committee member myself, I am confident that I would be able to do again and utilise this connection to raise your ideas/concerns freely to the committee. Given the chance I would ensure I would always be available to speak to anyone who wished to convey something to the society. Not only would I pass on those ideas, but would also follow it up until its been addressed by the appropriate people,  whilst keeping the individual updated.  

The society has already created so many incredible opportunities and I'm excited by thought of whats next to come - and hopefully I'll help third year to be a part of it!
