I am passionate about the vital work the UCL DRRH Society is doing, and believe this work deserves to be shared more widely. Through my five years of experience in the climate activism space, I've developed a deep appreciation for the power of storytelling in reaching and inspiring diverse audiences; most recently work with Chester Zoo to publish a 'Conservation Toolkit for Young People'. I want to bring that passion to the DRRH Society and help amplify its impact in global conversations, while ensuring the society's work is both innovative and academically rigorous.
As Publications Officer, I would aim to:
- Amplify the Society's Impact: Share the incredible work and event sof the DRRH Society with both the UCL community and the broarder public to educate, inspire, and empower as many people as possible
- Support Members' Work: Provide resources and guidance to ensure that the research and projects of society members reach the widest possible audience
- Ensure Accessibility & Engagement: Strive to make all publications engaging and accessible to a diverse range of audiences, ensuring that the society's work resonates with people from all backgrounds
I'm excited about the opportunity to contribute to the Society's mission, and I'm confident my skills in communication and storytelling will help elevate it's impact.
