Hey, I'm Laura :)
I'm really excited to put my name forward to continue as one of the social secretaries for DRRH Soc alongside Bella Richards!
First of all I'd just like to thank you all for your enthusiasm, it makes me so happy to see how many of you have participated in our events so far. These past couple of months as a social secretary have been so much fun and I'm so proud of what we have achieved since forming this committee 3 months ago. The team are so driven and passionate, and I believe that's really been apparent in the events we have held! Pub socials, movie nights, the Humanitarian Innovation Evening... there has been something for everyone! We have loved meeting every single one of you.
Going forward, we are in the midst of planning many more events such as our own pub quiz, volunteering days, another innovation evening and... a Winter Ball! The Winter Ball has been a personal goal of mine since starting this role, and I'm so happy to announce that the venue is confirmed and we are ready to provide you with an evening of music, good food and fab company :)
I believe Bella and I make an incredible team and I would be honoured to continue this role with her. Thank you for considering my application and I hope we get to accomplish much more together.
