Delilah Magazine: Events Coordinator

Hiya, I'm Yoan a 3rd year Philosophy student

I'm running for a committee position at Delilah because I'm passionate about music, especially live punk rock. Whether it's being right up front at a gig or jamming to Blink-182 and Green Day in my room on guitar. There’s nothing quite like getting shoved in a mosh pit and realising you’re way too close to someone’s elbow. The thrill, the bruises, the ringing in your ears for three days—it’s all part of the charm, it's these kind of experiences that I want to share and bring to the magazine. In all seriousness, I want Delilah to reflect the pure, chaotic joy of live music, especially punk rock, and to give our readers a place where they can relive those moments or discover their next favourite band.
