Data Science Society: Head of Operations

Hi everyone, I’m Jahnavi, currently a second-year Social Science & Data Science student, and I’m excited to run for Head of Operations for the Data Science Society. Since joining DSS, I have been actively involved in various initiatives, which has allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of how effective operations can enhance our community's experience. My experience as an intern at the United Nations Human Settlements Programme, where I worked on data-driven projects and coordinated cross-functional teams, has equipped me with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. My leadership in fundraising initiatives has taught me the importance of efficiency and collaboration. From organising events to managing logistics, I have had the chance to develop key skills to ensure the society will run smoothly. 

As Head of Operations, my goal is to streamline processes, enhance member engagement, and create a supportive environment where everyone can thrive. I’m excited to bring my skills and enthusiasm to this role, ensuring our society continues to grow and innovate. Let's make this UCL Data Science Society's best year yet :)
