Burmese Society: President

I am running for president because I believe in creating a community where Burmese students can feel at home, even while being away from their own. My goal is to foster a space where members can connect, network, create meaningful experiences, and forge lasting friendships. Additionally, I aim to expand our reach to students from other universities and provide opportunities for non-Burmese students to engage with and appreciate our rich culture!

My experience in laying the foundation for this society and organizing previous events has given me valuable insights into what our members need and expect. These events have already brought Burmese students together, and I am currently planning numerous initiatives to further strengthen connections among students across London.

Furthermore, my previous leadership roles as the student council president in two different schools have equipped me with the skills to effectively lead and represent this society. I am committed to building an inclusive and vibrant community that benefits all members!
