Hello! My name is Maria and I am a Biotech and Pharmaceutical Management Master's student at UCL. A little bit about me:
- I was born in Sofia and I am 23 years old.
- I completed my Bachelor's degree also at UCL
- In my third year, I was an Event Manager for the Bulgarian society
- I have tried different UCL societies, including Tennis, dodgeball and book society, yet, the Bulgarian one remains my favourite!
I am nominating myself for the role of Public Affairs Officer in the society, because I have a strong passion for the Bulgarian culture. As a Bulgarian, I have a deep connection to the traditions and values that make Bulgaria unique. Being a PRO would allow me to bring our heritage to life on campus, making the society a hub where all people can celebrate and learn about Bulgarian culture. I am excited to be a proud representative of my country and engage in different collaborations. In addition, I will do the best I can to unite Bulgarians.
