I would like to apply for the role of Publishing Director for the Behavioural Innovations Society for two reasons. Firstly, this role aligns with my academic and professional aspirations. Having studied BSc Psychology (Hons) at King’s College London and now pursuing an MSc in Behaviour Change at UCL, I have developed a strong understanding of behavioural science theories and their practical applications. Through my academic journey, I’ve gained experience in research, critical analysis and communication—all of which are skills that I can use to create and organise high-quality content for the BIS blog. Secondly, I believe that this role offers a unique opportunity to merge my skills in writing, editing, and behavioural science. I am eager to work with enthusiastic writers on our blog and help them develop and share their ideas in a way that stimulates the popularisation of behavioural science.
I am passionate about creating a collaborative space where writers feel supported and encouraged to share their work. In particular, I would like to make sure that this work is thought-provoking and based on research, while also representing a broad range of applications and ideas within the field. I also want to make sure that both writers and readers feel part of such a community by giving them the chance to engage with the blog and fully immerse themselves into behavioural science. My ultimate goal, as Publishing Director for the BIS blog, would be to create a platform that serves as a valuable resource for a big audience,
