Albanian Society: Treasurer

I am standing for Treasurer of the Albanian Society at UCL because I am deeply committed to fostering our vibrant community and ensuring it has the resources to thrive. Having served as the interim Welfare Officer last year and being an active member for two years, I have seen firsthand the positive impact our society has on its members and on promoting Albanian culture within UCL. I believe that with my experience and dedication, I can manage our finances effectively and contribute to creating meaningful, well-funded events.

As interim Welfare Officer, I learned the importance of creating a supportive environment where everyone feels welcome. This role also gave me insight into the inner workings of our society, helping me understand how essential efficient budgeting and financial planning are to achieving our goals. This year, I have already helped organize events, which has shown me the importance of careful financial planning to ensure successful, enjoyable activities that bring our community together.

My goal as Treasurer would be to establish transparent financial processes, improve budgeting strategies, and ensure that we can support a wider range of events and initiatives. I am excited to continue serving our society and contribute to building a stronger community for everyone.
