Hey everyone! My name is Danilo and I am applying to be your Welfare Officer! This is an amazing society and I want to help it grow. Next year, I want to run Welfare-related events ranging from board game afternoons, film screenings and study socials, to more relaxed socials such as quiz nights, SpeedFriendings, collabs, Tea and Cake Welfare Drop-Ins and more. I also aim to host collabs with other societies, networks and universities. But above all, I will always be here for all of our members and signpost and help whenever I can. I want to ensure that the society is a very welcoming and kind place where members can make friends and enjoy their time at university. I have a lot of experience in leading societies and I strongly believe that this will help me in making this society flourish. I also have a lot of knowledge and experience in how to ensure that events are accesible and welcoming which will the society and ensure that all members can take part and enjoy the events. I also have a lot of connections which will be useful in expanding the society's outreach.
